Pine Bluff is a community with a proud past and a bright future. As a cultural and economic hub for Southeast Arkansas, our commu- nity is united in creating a welcom- ing city for residents and visitors. Pine Bluff continues to nurture a growing business community while preserving the small town qualities that make Southern living so rewarding. Pine Bluff’s past is depicted in a variety of museums and historic homes, as well as the exceptional collection of murals located throughout downtown Pine Bluff. Students in Pine Bluff are preparing for the future at state of the art STEM facilities at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Southeast Arkansas College. Our city has embarked on an ambitious downtown revital- ization effort that debuted a new aquatic center and will unveil a dramatic new public library building. These facil- ities will compliment contemporary theater productions, visual arts and science exhibits at the Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas. Pine Bluff boasts a recreation trail that circles beautiful Lake Saracen, linking neighborhoods with the Farmers Market at Saracen Landing and the always fascinating Delta Rivers Nature Center The Pine Bluff Convention Center brings numerous musical, cultural, and civic events to our city. Our community is home to a selection of fine restau- rants and shopping opportunities, an 18-hole pub- lic golf course and outdoor activities such as boat- ing, fishing and camping.
