Museums and Culture Fame, located in the Pine Bluff Convention Center, is a place where visitors can get close to the stars. The muse- um features a life-size “singing” animatronic like- ness of the late Johnny Cash, and a fascinating display of memorabilia from Arkansas’ biggest and brightest stars. Admission is free. UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS AT PINE BLUFF The second oldest land grant public insti- tution in the state boasts 56 buildings and a 12,500-seat Golden Lions Football Stadium. The college is located at 1200 North University Drive. KEEPERS OF THE SPIRIT is a permanent exhibit that blends historical scholarship and visual documentation. The exhibit provides a foun- dational experience for understanding the varied per- spectives and enduring tradi- tions of black Arkansans – how they have dealt with their world and helped to shape it. Keepers of the Spirit traces the 137-year history of UAPB through a series of 25 panels displaying photographs, text and memorabilia. The exhibit is housed in the west wing of the Leedell Moorehead-Graham Fine Arts Gallery, at the Isaac H. Hathaway-John M. Howard Fine Arts Center on the cam- pus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. 17
