ARKANSAS RAILROAD MUSEUM Railroad buffs should not miss the Arkansas Railroad Museum with the restored Engine 819, the last 4-8-4 Northern type steam locomotive built in Pine Bluff. The engine has been lovingly rebuilt by volunteer crafts- men, and tours are available year-round at the museum located off U.S. Hwy. 65B ARTS AND SCIENCE CENTER FOR SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS offers acting classes, summer theatre camp and an informal behind-the-scenes mentoring program. There are a variety of classes for kids from kindergarten through the 4th grade. During the summer youth participate in two and three-week programs, Summer Scholars (kinder- garten – 4th grade) and Summer Theatre Camp (ages 8-18 years). In addition to works from the Center’s permanent collec- tion, traveling exhibits are presented in four galleries year ‘round.
